Over the last two decades, we’ve been heavily steeped in emerging technologies, things like web browsers, networking infrastructure and consumer electronics — some of which have proven to be truly world-changing. Whether connecting people in third-world countries to the Internet, helping companies and government organizations recover from natural and manmade disasters more quickly, providing computer-based training to the homeless so they can find gainful employment, or helping companies find and remedy product defects before a tragedy occurs, organizations that develop and market cutting edge, meaningful technology-based solutions are a pleasure to represent.
In 2007, Sterling’s executive team decided that representing cleantech clients would become a strategic imperative. In a market that’s as much about philosophy and politics as it is about technology, we’ve gone to work building awareness and goodwill for all kinds of cleantech enterprises and green technology initiatives. We spend time with corporate leaders, public policymakers, members of the media and venture capitalists from around the world who are looking at new ways to help us better manage life on this planet.
Through these conversations, we have become adept at conveying the real value of green solutions and explaining cleantech value propositions in ways that appeal to tech lovers, investors, economy watchers and tree huggers alike, leveraging all relevant traditional media outlets and social media channels. It is enormously rewarding work that is in line with the legacy we want to leave. We like that, a lot.
Sterling’s experience in the sustainability sphere includes work with companies that develop and market cellulosic ethanol, solar infrastructure solutions, wastewater treatment solutions, power consumption reduction technologies, and climate change education systems. We’ve also represented a global cleantech organization and a leading water industry consultancy.
